The Seminole Coconut Creek Casino was once a small facility with a couple hundred slot machines, but this week, the Seminoles have held grand opening parties related to the tribe’s $ 150 million expansion of the gaming facility.
Sebastian Vettel will be gunning for his third consecutive victory on Sunday as the star Red Bull Racing driver hits the track in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix as the favorite on the Formula 1 betting board at the Bodog Sportsbook.

Vettel won the Korean Grand Prix on October 16, and he also took the checkered flag last time out in the Indian Grand Prix on October 30. That ran Vettel’s win total on the season to 11 races, and makes him the huge 8/11 favorite for Sunday’s event.
The drivers championship leader also won the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix last season, beating McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton across the finish line by over 10 seconds to grab that victory. McLaren’s Jenson Button rounded out the podium finishers at that race.
Nico Rosberg of Mercedes GP, Robert Kubica and Vitaly Petrov of Renault, Fernando Alonso of Ferrari, Mark Webber of Red Bull Racing, Jaime Alguersuari of STR-Ferrari, and Felipe Massa of Ferrari made up the rest of the Top 10 at Abu Dhabi last season.
Button is second on the F1 odds board with a line of 4/1 to get the win on Sunday, followed by Hamilton at 9/2, Webber at 6/1, and Alonso at 15/2. Button is second in the drivers championship with 240 points on the season, with Alonso at 227, Webber at 221, and Hamilton at 202. None of them can catch Vettel and his 374 points.
Massa (100/1), Rosberg (125/1), and Michael Schumacher (150/1) are all longshots.
At the Bodog Sportsbook you can also wager on the winning car for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, with Red Bull Racing not surprisingly the favorite at 4/9 odds. McLaren is next at 7/4, with Ferrari at 15/2, and Mercedes GP at a distant 100/1. Red Bull Racing has a 595-442 lead on McLaren in the constructors championship with two races left.

Sebastian Vettel has already wrapped up the drivers championship for this season, but he’s also still paying off on the F1 betting board. The Red Bull Racing driver will be gunning for yet another victory this weekend at the inaugural Indian Grand Prix.
Vettel, who has an insurmountable 349-222 lead on McLaren’s Jenson Button in the driver standings with just three races left in the season, is coming off a win on October 16 in the Korean Grand Prix. That was Vettel’s 10th victory in 16 races this season.
It’s no wonder, then, that Vettel is listed as the 6/5 favorite on the F1 odds at the Bodog Sportsbook to take the checkered flag this weekend in the Indian Grand Prix – a brand new event for the 2011 season at the Buddh International Circuit.
McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton, who won in China and Germany this season, is next at 3/1 odds, with teammate Button at 7/2 odds. Button picked up victories in Canada, Hungary, and Japan this season, and he ended up in fourth place in the Korean Grand Prix last time out. Hamilton finished second behind Vettel in that race.
Red Bull’s Mark Webber, who picked up a third-place result in Korea, is at 11/2 odds to win the Indian Grand Prix this weekend, with Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso at 7/1 odds. Alonso had to settle for a fifth-place result last time out in Korea, but he’s the other F1 driver with a victory on his resume this season (in Britain).
Ferrari’s Felipe Massa (100/1) and Mercedes GP teammates Nico Rosberg (100/1) and Michael Schumacher (150/1) then headline the list of longshots for this week’s event. Massa was sixth in Korea, while Rosberg was eighth, and Schumacher didn’t finish.
At the Bodog Sportsbook you can also wager on the winning team, with Red Bull Racing the 2/3 favorite to finish in first place this weekend. McLaren (3/2), Ferrari (7/1), and Mercedes GP (66/1) follow them on that list for the Indian Grand Prix.

Sebastian Vettel has already locked down the Formula 1 drivers championship for this season, but that doesn’t mean he still won’t be a formidable competitor on the F1 odds board at the Bodog Sportsbook in the Korean Grand Prix this weekend.
Red Bull’s Vettel sits as the 5/4 favorite on the odds board to get the win in the Korean Grand Prix on Sunday. Vettel had engine problems at this event last season and failed to finish the race, but he leads the circuit with nine victories so far in 2011.
McLaren’s Jenson Button, who was 12th in Korea in 2010, is next at 7/2 on the odds board for this week, followed by McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton at 9/2, and Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso at 5/1. Alonso beat Hamilton by almost 15 seconds to win the Korean Grand Prix last season.
Red Bull’s Mark Webber, at 13/2 for this weekend on the F1 lines, was involved in an accident with Mercedes GP’s Nico Rosberg (100/1) at this event last season and they didn’t manage to finish the race either. Ferrari’s Felipe Massa, at 66/1 for this weekend, ended up on the podium in third place last season.
Red Bull is also the 4/5 favorite to produce the race winner on Sunday, followed by McLaren at 3/2, and Ferrari at 9/2. The OVER/UNDER on the winning margin for the event sits at six seconds on the F1 props market.
As well, Button is set as the -167 favorite to end up with the most points on the season between him, Alonso (+350), Webber (+600), and Hamilton (+1600). Button has 210 points in 2011, while Alonso has 202, Webber has 194, and Hamilton has 178.
There are just three races left in the F1 season after this weekend’s event in South Korea.

Any signs that the Texas Rangers didn’t have momentum in the 2011 MLB playoffs was slammed by Victor Cruz Monday night.
Cruz, already holding a double and game-tying home run going into the bottom of the 11th, then completed his monster day with the first walk-off grand in postseason history. With the win the Rangers lead the best-of-seven series 2-0 on the Detroit Tigers.
“It was amazing,” Cruz said. “First two pitches, I was too aggressive. I hit the ball—foul ball, foul ball. So after that, I told myself just slow down and try to hit a fly ball to the outfield.”
Now some of you MLB stat junkies might be thinking a grand slam went down in the 1999 NLCS by Robin Ventura hit a tie-breaking blast for the New York Mets. But Ventura was swarmed between first and second base before he could touch home plate, therefore negating “grand slam” status and making it a single. Today, it’s known as the “grand-slam single.” We’re sure bettors who bet the runline or total weren’t happy about the result either.
The Tigers head back home having squandered the two best pitchers in their lineup. Max Scherzer was tonight’s starter, giving up three runs in six innings of work, while Cy Young candidate Justin Verlander lost Game 1 with three runs allowed in four innings. However they will have Doug Fister, who gave up just one run in five innings in the decisive Game 5 versus New York.
